  • Role: Event and Sponsorship Director, lead organizer 

  • Enhanced community engagement and attendance,~25,000 over 1 day, 8-hour event, mobilizing 75% of downtown Anchorage corridor with activations. 

  • Customized proposals with strategic aligning of brand objectives with event activations: Corporate, Nonprofit and In-Kind offerings 

  • Enlisted over 75 local merchants/organizations to activate their spaces along with other community partners, sponsors and organizations 

  • Effectively managed budgets, contracts, onsite activation, 100+ volunteers and vendor relationships.

  • Created and sold sponsorship packages valued at 100K collectively to cover event costs to ensure sponsors received maximum ROI and high visibility.

  • Core Event Elements: Live Entertainment: Featuring local musicians, dance troupes, and cultural performances across multiple stages., Hero Games: A spirited competition where military, police, and fire teams engage in challenges like tug-of-war and obstacle courses, fostering community engagement. Family-Friendly Activities: Including inflatable obstacle courses, climbing walls, bubble towers, face painting, and petting zoos, STEM activities. Vendor Booths: Over 50 local artisans, food trucks, and small businesses showcased their offerings. Food Trucks with local fare offerings. Interactive Installations: Such as the Hashtag Printer booth, allowing attendees to print event photos tagged on social media, takeaway art projects, and scavenger hunt passport activity. 

  • High Visibility: With over 25,000 attendees annually, sponsors gained significant exposure.

  • 2,500 hashtag posts, 500K+ social media impressions, 20 earned media coverage pieces, 40,000 views of post event recaps and sizzle reel views. 

  • Diverse Audience: The event attracted a wide demographic, from families to young professionals, aligning with various marketing targets.

  • Strategically aligned sponsorship and partner activations with event goals and overall goal of ADP to make Anchorage the #1 place to Live, work and Play.

  • Community Alignment: The festival fostered a sense of community, bringing together residents and visitors to celebrate the unique Alaskan summer.

  • Interactive Opportunities: Sponsors could engage directly with attendees through booths, activities, and branded experiences.

  • Economic Boost: Local businesses benefited from increased foot traffic by 35% on average, with vendors and nearby establishments reporting higher sales during the event.
